Smurfs caught stealing trampoline
7.00am Monday July 31, 2006
Two blue "Smurfs" were left with red faces on Saturday night after they were arrested for stealing a trampoline.
Dunedin police said two drunk 19-year-olds, "dressed as smurfs", were seen carrying the trampoline along a street about 1am.
They dropped it and ran off when they saw the police. The pair were later arrested.
Smurfs featured in the 1980s television cartoon series The Smurfs. "
My trampoline fell apart but whilst I had it, I chained it to a tree just to deter drunken smurfs.
Smurfs are evil :D
